Identify appropriate clinical indications for excisional biopsy based on lesion characteristics and patient history.
Differentiate between excisional biopsy and other biopsy techniques regarding indications, advantages, and limitations.
Assess the potential cosmetic impact of excisional biopsy and choose techniques that minimize scarring.
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team (eg, dermatologists, pathologists, surgeons) to ensure comprehensive patient care and accurate diagnosis.
